About
About Oxford & Loom
Oxford & Loom is a menswear guide built around one idea: most style advice is more complicated than it needs to be. We write about the pieces men actually own, from shirts and pants to shoes, socks, and the bag you pack for a week away, and try to answer the practical questions that come up before or after a purchase, not the aspirational ones that assume an unlimited budget or endless free time.
How we work
We publish under a shared editorial byline, Oxford & Loom Editorial, rather than individual writer names. That's a choice, not an oversight. The site is small, the guidance is meant to represent one consistent editorial position, and we would rather not invent staff bios or headshots to make the operation look bigger than it is.
Editorial and sponsored content
Some of what you read here is independent editorial coverage. Some of it is sponsored content, or includes affiliate partnerships with brands we mention or feature, including brands under common ownership with this site. We don't treat that as a secret. When a page includes a paid or affiliate relationship, we say so on the page, and our Advertising Disclosure explains exactly how that works and how it does or doesn't affect what we recommend.
If you're looking for a second opinion on a purchase, a plain explanation of how something is supposed to fit, or just a shorter path to getting dressed on a normal morning, that's what this site is for.
